But REALLY they met at a fundraiser for MMDC (Rachel's dance company) in 2016. Danny blanked on her name, Rachel danced oddly and at great length with her younger sister . . .it was love at first (or second) sight.
Fate has a funny way of bringing people together. Were it not for Hurricane Katrina, Danny never would have met Rachel's friend and choreographer Mari, displaced to the North Carolina School of the Arts where Danny was in school. Mari, also a NOLA area native, met Rachel in New York City, and worlds collided. May global warming shine evermore benevolently on their marriage.
